About Me

I am a BACP accredited counsellor and UKCP registered psychotherapist and a qualified supervisor for other counsellors.

My Therapeutic Approach

I believe that if the therapist and client can form a good enough rapport, this is sufficient to effect therapeutic change. Quantum physics also supports this through wave theory. The hypothesis states that a particle observed, will behave differently than if it was not observed. Thus in sharing a story, the act of being with another, can effect change, and consequently new solutions can be pursued.

I have completed a number of therapy trainings from different approaches, and therefore work as an integrative transpersonal therapist - meaning that I approach each client as an individual and draw from relevant theory as appropriate. I focus on the dynamics of the therapeutic relationship, and aim to offer support and supply relevant and helpful information where desirable.

I believe in the human ability to heal and grow and understand that suffering can be transformative and is eased when shared.

My training includes:

  • Certificate in Person Centred Counselling, Metanoia
